Education
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant Coursework: Engineering Materials, Strength of Materials, Engineering Mechanics, Workshop Practice.
Experience
Costech Computers Ltd
- Developed a 4-cylinder engine assembly for a 4-member Hybrid Electric Vehicle project by modelling the crankshaft, connecting rod, piston pin/rings, oil pump, and gallery in Autodesk Inventor; checked assembly fit and alignment.
- Designed and modelled 50+ mechanical components and systems in Autodesk Inventor, including steam venting and water-control valves, car brake components, and lock levers.
- Integrated and refined team CAD designs by coordinating with 3 teammates, incorporating engineering feedback, and presenting revised assemblies to management and engineers.
NoteNest Ltd
- Led a 5-member team through MVP development and launch, defining product requirements, assigning deliverables, and coordinating engineering, marketing, and media work to deliver the product.
- Organized project execution across 9 team members using Jira for weekly task tracking and Confluence/Microsoft Office for requirements, meeting minutes, reports, and operational documentation.
- Managed up to ₦500k+ in company expenses and budget allocation using Excel, and tracked spending across activities.
- Unblocked a product launch when Google Play approval was delayed, rapidly deploying a website-based download pathway and reprioritizing deliverables to preserve the release timeline.
- Built the AI backend pipeline for study documents using OCR, LLMs, RAG, ChromaDB, retrieval, and asynchronous processing; supported testing with 30 founding users.
Automotive/Mechanical Systems Apprenticeship
- Supported engine repairs across 20+ vehicles, dismantling engines and replacing faulty pistons, piston rings, spark plugs, and timing belts/chains under mechanic supervision.
- Performed routine maintenance independently, replacing brake pads and brake discs, tires, fan belts, spark plugs, and oil to restore vehicles to operating condition.
- Assisted with engine reassembly and timing work of an old model Peugeot, dismantling and reassembling components including the coil, shock absorber, and steering knuckles under mechanic supervision.
Leadership Experience
RAIN-INN - RSU CHAPTER
- Scaled technical programming to 250+ participants by planning a 30-day AI/ML program, coordinating 2 instructors, scheduling 1 weekly session, and managing weekly assignments through completion.
- Managed an 11-member core team across AI/ML, embedded systems, research, CAD, programs, coordination, and media by assigning responsibilities, deadlines, and leading check-ins.
- Maintained program continuity during instructor disruptions by confirming availability in advance, communicating schedule changes to 250+ participants, and coordinating a revised session time to prevent program disruption.
- Automated assignment review for 250+ participants with Python, tracking completion and enabling rewards for participants who met program requirements.
Projects
AI Powered Bionic Arm | RAIN-INN RSU
- Explored lower-cost bionic prosthetics for amputees by designing a 3D-printable palm-to-finger assembly in Autodesk Inventor and developing an EMG/ESP32 architecture for planned AI-based motion control; 3D printed the palm.
